Fixed Fee Conveyancing
At Dempseys Lawyers, we understand that there are enough 'unknown costs' associated with buying or selling property. That is why we provide Fixed Fee Conveyancing at a very competitive price. Our professional fees are:
- Sale: $700 (plus GST)
- Purchase: $800 (plus GST)
Certain searches also need to be conducted in the course of a normal purchase conveyance (ie: Townsville City Council search, Main Roads search etc). These search fees normally amount to just under $350 for the purchase of a home and approximately $400 for the purchase of a unit.
No Up-Front Costs
When buying or selling your property, you have enough costs to worry about. To lessen the hassle, we carry your file and pay your search fees and are then are reimbursed at settlement directly from your bank, along with our professional fees. This means there are no up-front fees or outlays for you to pay at the commencement of your conveyance.
No settlement, no charge!
In the unfortunate event that your sale or purchase does not go through for some reason (ie: finance is declined or failure of Building and Pest Report) we do not charge any professional fees.
